Seattle Tennis Courts

Almost every tennis court in Seattle, with the exception of  College courts,  is reservable.  All sites have to have at least one walk-on court (unreservable).  At Lower Woodland, these are courts 1, 2, 9, 10.  At Jefferson, this is Upper Court 2.  Many of the courts are not in great shape.  The best courts to play on are Lower Woodland, Jefferson, Amy Yee Outdoor Courts, and Rainier Beach Playfield.

Reservations for Seattle courts

To reserve a court, it is $10 / hr.  You can reserve on Active Communities.  All Seattle outdoor courts are managed by the Amy Yee Tennis Center.  You can email them at tenniscourtscheduling@seattle.gov or call them at 206-684-4764.

Indoor Courts

There are many places to play indoors in Seattle and the surrounding areas.  They offer reservable courts, USTA league play, and group classes for both juniors and adults.  Tennis lessons have to be taught by employees of that club and usually have long waiting lists.

Hitting Walls

There are many places to practice hitting against a wall.  The best one is the side of the Ravenna Eckstein Community Center as you can't hit it over the wall or disrupt tennis courts.  Here is a list.
