TOURNAMENTS
USTA tournaments are played throughout the year both indoor and outdoor. For adults, there are sanctioned tournaments which affect your yearend rating and non-sanctioned tournaments which do not.
Tournament Levels
Level 1 is the highest and is a national tournament with the best players. Level 7 is the lowest and is meant to be entry level. For juniors, the levels are important and to get into levels 1-5 requires point accumulation. For adults, most tournaments are NTRP tournaments, so levels are not as critical unless trying to accumulate national points. Senior events for adults are ages 35 and up.
